We got Nixon these shoes to help kids learn to walk properly since he kept standing up and trying to take a step but get too scared.  We put on the shoes and in a few minutes of course when we weren't paying any attention he just did it, he walked! We kept trying to get him to do it before and after his attempt, but the only thing that worked was cheese string.  We got a clip of him hes not the most stable, but at least he will have the confidence now!  I am so glad to see him walking.. he can get into everything, and can crawl SUPER fast, so i figure why not, at least this way i wont have to worry about him hitting his head on our tile floor until he starts climbing anyways!

We went to Cardston for the week of American Thanksgiving after I got my wisdom teeth taken out.  We got super sick while we were there and that wasn't fun but it was good to see the family, and Jeff played in the Alumni tournament - and his team won!!

Well Christmas is coming and we are super excited.  We are staying in Rexburg for the season and will miss our family but we are super excited to try out just being with each other.  We put up a tree and I plan to get a family picture by it soon.  More to come for the season, so keep checking in!

Oh and Jeff only has one week left of classes so yay!!!

Happy Halloween!!

I was super excited about Halloween!! Even though I had to work the night shift the night before (and the night of), I wanted to make the best of it, and didn't want Nixon to miss out on anything!!
To start off Halloween night, we got Nixon all dressed up! He was a Lion!! I origionally planned on being Dorthy and Jeff Tin Man and of course Nixon the Lion, however, since we weren't going to be able to go to any Halloween parties since I work every weekend, I decided i would wait until next year since Nixon will actually know whats going on then!

We started off with some Trunk or Treat at the Cal-de-sac right by our house, with our friends and their 2 little boys. Nixon likes to crinkle the candy wrappers, so he liked to just grab the candy and hold it or shake it depending on the candy.

We got a pumpkin shaped pizza for supper, it was sweet but I forgot to get a picture of it until it was too late! but he had a face made from pepperonis and black olive eyes! When walked outside for like a second to check out our pumpkins, Nixon grabbed Harrison's piece of pizza, and got it all over himself as he started to devour it... Jeff wanted to take a picture of him messy, but this is me trying to hide it!

Yay! Happy Halloween!! We had fun, I hope you did too!!

Also, for the rest of the month of October - I started working the night shift at walmart so I work 10pm to 7am... its hard but its nice to be working again!

Back in Rexburg!

So whats new in the past month is.... Nixon can stand and "walk" along furniture!!!! WHOOO!! He also crawls on his knees now...but only sometimes. He still prefers to go on his tummy, I think it is because he can move himself faster.  He also has 2 teeth now which has changed his smile and its too funny! Jeff thinks he looks like a hillbilly, and I think he looks A LOT like my baby pictures especially with that face!

Our charger to our camera had been misplaced in the move, and we just found it today, so here are some new and some old pics!

Today we gave Nixon a pickle. He totally LOVED it!

I LOVE these PJS thanks Aunt Kristin!! My most Favorite ones yet! ...and yes I know they are 18months ones and he is only 8months old.. but he is in mainly 12-18month + sleepers! Its those Long legs!!

This is just some PROOF for all you out there! He can also get along the furniture...and trust me... our tv is taking a beating from this little man.

Life is going great, and Jeff is having fun with school and also started playing Baseball!! When he has a game you can bet me and Nixon will be there and we will get some pics!!

August is almost gone?!!!

Since I have not posted anything for a while, I figured I should get back to work here!!!

In July, Jeff finished his first semester of school (which he did so great in, I am proud of my man!) so we headed up to Canada to work....well Jeff is working, and since I am still on Mat leave and someone needs to take care of Nixon I get to pretty much just play!  I would just like to add....my husband is THE BEST!!! He was going to school full time and did so well, and now he is working so much so that we can continue to live while he goes to BYU-I! He is a trooper that man! (and also losing his freshman 15 doing manual labor again!)

Anyways, as we started our journey back to Canada we headed to Cour d'Alene for a few days for a Klassen reunion!  We had a blast with Jeffs' family as usual, and we were so happy to finally meet Brayden our new little nephew! (well okay, hes not THAT little, but he's a cutie!!)

Next (after Jeff worked for a bit while I was at the cabin) Jeff suprised me at my parents cabin, where we had a Hall reunion.  It was fun to see all of my siblings together, and to meet another nephew Max whom we haven't gotten to meet and is now over 1 year, so it was greatly anticipated and much needed. We had a lot of fun with my family, and got to go out boating lots.  We went on MANY tube rides with my nephew Luke, he absolutely LOVED them it was so awesome!  We got a family picture!! yay!!! Jeffrey finally in a Hall family photoooo! whoot whoot!

Currently, Jeff is still working in Hill Spring, and I am in Calgary seeing old friends.  Yupp thats right, they have gotten older since the last time I saw them!! :)  I am having a great time here, and in fact yesterday I saw a new part of Calgary that I have never been to -- Kensington!! I think I had my expectations too high lol, but it was a nice walk and I was able to catch up with some great friends, Sam and Sarah, while Nixon and Sams baby Rayner bonded....over nap time hahah!

I hope I get to see more friends while I am here! In fact tonight I get to go and see some friends Jillian and Tessa!! They haven't had a chance to meet Mr. Nixon yet, so it will be a great time!!! I also saw a lot of other friends at Jaclyn's Bridal shower last Thursday night, but too many to mention!! (I just wouldn't want to leave out anybody!)

Anyways, I hope you are all having a fantastic summer, I know I am...Jeff...probably not so much, but I will have to surprise him with something!

HAPPY SUMMER!

Balloon.Time

Aunt Deb always has helium balloons from work that she gives to Nixon and he LOVES them! He originally got 2 this weekend, but he kicked one too hard and it broke off of the ribbon while we were outside and flew away with the wind. Anyways, we thought him playing with them were hilarious, so we had to catch it on video. Here he is just goin' at it!

He is getting more and more funny as he gets more of his personality out.  He laughs at everything, and is generally having his own party.  We have been lighting off fireworks a lot in the past two weeks and Nixon gets so excited! He is just moving and groovin' when he sees them and laughs!  One night after lighting off a few at Aunt Debs house, he was all hyped up on the way home! We thought it was just so funny!

On another note, tonight was Nixons first time eating his whole bowl of Rice cereal tonight! I was stoked! :) (not that I have been trying everyday, in fact I had given up, and then today I thought it would be fun, so I just decided to try it out!) He didn't even make much of a mess!

We got Nixon a "Johnny Jump Up!" and he loves it! He isn't really jumping in it yet, but he moves around in it, and occasionally we make it like a swing for him and he loves that too! (Not sure why he is in a bin here...but at least Jeff took pictures of him in it!)
