Winter Semester 2012

It has been way too long since I last posted, so I figured I should get on here and fill you all in!

Nixon has been growing so much and getting so big. He just gets to be more and more fun all of the time and we are completely enjoying this stage! He walks around 24/7 and is just so crazy, but he is just so cute and funny you gotta love em!

Nixon turned 1 on Jan 29, so we had a mini mini party for him. Grandma and Grandpa Hall were here to celebrate with us, so we got some pizza and Nixon enjoyed his sugary cake! I made Nixon a 3 tier topsy-turvy cake... it was a mini version of course, and he loved it!

This was just a cup cake - his first one though!

New Years Eve Haircut!!

Nixon got his hair cut on New Years Eve... it was time and we didn't really have much to do that night so here are some pictures of my cutting it.. and post hair cut!

Merry Christmas!!

Christmas was very weird this year... It was just the three of us, so it didn't really feel like Christmas at all! However, it was fun to have Jeff around more during the Christmas break from school so that I could sleep more (from working night shifts) and him and Nixon got to bond even more! Nixon didn't really catch onto the whole opening presents thing, but he enjoyed eating the wrapping paper, and playing with the boxes. Most of his presents he was scared of at first, but now he loves them!
We got to play lots of games which was really fun - Jeff got Ticket to Ride which he had been eyeing for MONTHS now, so we had a nice tournament of that and some good ol' Dominoes.
On Christmas Eve we went out for dinner - it was the first time that Nixon got a meal ordered for him.. and he ate NONE of it! What a little turkey he is!! We also all opened some new PJs, and watched some Christmas movies, it was a blast!
