Novdecember?

I have been slacking....

Here are some updates from November and beginning of December!

We decided to go to California. I had never really seen the Ocean, so we made a little weekend of it! It was great!

Took the kids on the Ferris Wheel at Balboa Beach. Oakley HATED it!

We had to try the Famous Balboa bars!

Jeff got to hang out with his cousins baby, he likes babies!

Went to see the Hollywood sign.

Jeff got free new socks from a sock designer!

On Thanksgiving day Jeff let me sleep in and took the kids for a bike ride. They loved it!

When he got home we decided to head over to Pheonix to visit my Brother while my Mother was there. We hit up a bouncy house place while we were there to burn off some of Nixon's energy. 

Then They were tired. 

Jeffs parents came to visit for a few nights. We had family game night playing headbands. We just got it on black Friday.... Nixon kept telling everyone what theirs was haha but it was actually very hard to guess!

Elfie has been visiting and checking up on us.

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year!

We had a trunk or treat and decorated our SUV scary. It was fun. We love Halloween. There were a ton of kids there, bouncy houses, almost 40 different styles of chili, and a fun haunted house!

We had fun decorating our house for Halloween too! (These pictures were taken before everything was in place as we got some more things going, but you get the idea)

On Halloween we had some great friends from Canada come up to visit their family and had us join them. It was a lot of fun seeing them and getting to hang out and spend Halloween with some good friends! Here are just a few pictures of us on actual Halloween night!

The kids got a lot of Candy. Nixon really LOVED Halloween this year which was really fun! He would run from one house to the next cutting through yards. He would try to go to every house and was often way ahead of us! We kept having to reel him back in for his own safety. I was glad that he loved it though, and he is already looking forward to next year. He says he either wants to be a Dinosaur, Ninja Turtle, or a Pirate. I am so glad that he is getting excited about Halloween, it makes it a lot more fun for us! I was sad that we missed all of the Trick-or-treaters at our house though, but we will have lots of years to do that! 

My parents were here last week, and of course I forgot to get pictures :( We did have a great time with them, and they let us go out on a date night while they watched our children. We went to some haunted houses. It was really fun, but then again, we love Halloween!

We sure had a great October, it is fun to be these kids parents!
