Waterton!

Jeff found out that I had never been to Waterton, so the very next day he took off half a day so that we could go out and have some fun.  If you didn't know, Jeff works on a Dairy Farm 3 minutes away from our house.  He rides a peddle bike back and forth from work, and sometimes he starts work at 4 in the morning!  So when I say he took off a day, or a half a day, that means he was up way before the roosters dressed in gum boots and coveralls scraping up poop!  Sometimes he milks the cows, but a lot of the time he is working on the tractors or feeding the baby cows. Usually Jeff works everyday around 10+ hours, so its really nice for him to have a day off so that we can go and hang out and have fun being a freshly married couple!
Anyways, so we went to Waterton for the day!  There was still a lot of snow so we couldn't go up to the lake, but we drove up most of the road and it seems pretty long so I was asking Jeff how much longer (I'm impatient) and he said we are almost there!  Sure enough we came around a bend, and there was a huge pile of snow, and the road was completely blocked!  So we will have to wait until the snow melts for me to see the lake, but that is alright it will make for a whole new adventure!
This is the huge snow road block.

We hung out a bit in Waterton just having fun the two of us in the gorgeous park!  It was so beautiful with all of the trees and wildlife everywhere.  Jeff taught me a lot of new things about animals.  There were scrap markings on the tree and I just figured that it was from humans, but he explained that every year deers shed thieir antlers and start to grow new ones, but when they grow out the new ones, there is fur on them so they rub up against the trees to scrape it all off.
Here are a couple of pictures of us having some fun on our day off.

Look at my good lookin' husband!
Taking in the view.

Great picture of the moutains.
What a beautiful country we live in!
