As a keep sake we wanted a nice painting of the Cardston Temple. Well if you ever look in LDS bookstores, temple paintings are really quite pricey! (as all paintings are) We found a guy to paint it for us and we think he did an excellent job! Take a look yourself!

Cardston Temple
On January 22, 2011 - Jeff and I had the privilege of being sealed as a family in the Cardston Alberta Temple! Only a week before our baby boy was born - so I am glad we did it when we did - that way all of our children will be born under the covenant.

Nixon Paul Kenly
We had our baby boy on January 29, 2011 at 12:30am.
Weighing in at 7 pounds 10 ounces and 21 inches long.
We named him Nixon Paul Kenly!
We have been so blessed to have this little boy come into our family. He is so much fun, and is currently 9 weeks old - so he is smiling all of the time and get better at sleeping in the night which we are SO grateful for! We love the new addition to our family, and we could no longer imagine life without him.

Expecting Baby Boy Kenly!
We are expecting our first baby in only 3 weeks! We have everything ready for him once he decides to come out, and we cannot wait! Life has been quite dull around here, but I am sure that little guy will get us both busy, and I would imagine quite tired for the first little bit!
Thanks to our friends and family to how prepared we are!
Jeffs parents got us an amazing crib!!!
The kid will have a different outfit and sleeper everyday until he is 6 months old! (those drawers are full!)
The Kenly swing that gets passed from kid to kid!
Our beautiful diaper Genie!
My mom has made the little fella a bassinet!
My mom gave me the mobile that went through most of her kids! haha
Baby blankets from Aunt Deb, Brita, Shelley and Cheryl, My parents and Jeffs parents!
Lets just say, he will be very comfortable especially for the first 6 months!
Being pregnant hasn't been the most fun, Jeff gets to go and do all of these fun things that aren't pregnancy safe like in the summer wake boarding, water skiing, and now snow boarding/skiing, sledding, pick up basketball.... not to mention he doesn't get morning sickness, or needles, or have to see the doctor all of the time!!! My least favorite part of being pregnant is how HUGE I feel! The tummy just gets in the way!
However, I am very grateful that we are blessed that we had no issues getting pregnant, and that we can have a little guy of our own! I am excited to see what he looks like, and what traits he gets from both sides of the family.
We are waiting for you to come out little man! Don't feel that you have to wait until the very end! :)
Here was me at 29.5 weeks pregnant. See I am huge!

Summer 2010
This summer it seemed like we were rarely home, which is a good thing! Not only have we had to move 3 times these past 10 months, but we will be moving again in a few weeks. We are so excited because we will actually be able to find things in our house. We have been living in older couples homes "house sitting" for them, so things have been cluttered from our stuff plus their stuff, but that will soon come to an end, and we probably wont find the energy to move for a few years!
Anyways, some of our summer trips:
-Trips to the Hall Cabin! (apparently we snuck away from there with no pictures, even though we went numerous times!)
- Trip to Idaho - Kenly/Klassen Cabin!
This place was amazing, it was the families first time, and we had so much fun! I got to meet G&G Klassen again, this time was legit though, not just a thirty minute stop by the second week we had been dating, but an actual time to get to know each other a little better!
The house was HUGE! All the beds in the house were King which was sooo much better to sleep in than a double like we currently have at home! There was an elevator, 2 kitchens, an awesome view of Cour D'elene lake, and i think there was like 4 dishwashers!
(pictures wont upload today)
-Kenly Family Reunion (Sept long weekend)
Lots of quadding, and just good time spent hanging out with the family!
- VEGAS TRIP!!!
We had soo much fun in Vegas, and yes we walked away with money in our pockets from the slots! We didn't gamble much (well especially me since I am not 21 yet) but on the last day we won 200$ just before we left for the airport!
We went to a show every night we were there, and even an afternoon one. They were so much fun! Jeff got hypnotized... which was slightly embarrassing seeing as everyone around me knew I was with him haha! We have a DVD of it, if you ever want to see it!
We also went to Terry Fator he is a ventriloquist who mainly sings with his dummys, it was probably my favorite! Tournament of kings was a good one too, it was a dinner and a show type deal from the midevil times, so we ate everything with our hands, and the show was good, they were jousting on horseback, and just lots of fun! Went to some Comedians, and a musical called Menopause... it was a lot of fun!
We decided to get each other our Christmas/anniversary gifts while we were there, I got a black pearl necklace, and Jeffrey got remote controlled airplanes!
All in all it was just a lot of fun, and we are excited to someday go back! Hopefully for my 21st birthday!
Among a lot of family outings, and reunions, we worked lots, and had fun with friends at the Waterton Damn. Summer 2010 was a lot of fun, and we look forward to Summer 2011 with an our little addition to the family, expected to arrive Feb. 4th!!!

Summer is coming!!!
I can see summer coming through the tan on my husbands arms and neck. I looked white before, but no it is even worse!!! Jeff is working a lot on the farm, and I have started working in Waterton doing Housekeeping. It is a lot of work, but it is sometimes fun, and gives me something to do that's for sure. Staying at home was very boring because I just hung out with myself all day, but now that I work, I miss out on seeing Jeff. It seems that whenever he finally gets a day off, I have to work a full day, when a lot of days we get off earlier. I miss getting to see him at lunch but working is the right thing to do at this point in time. Especially now since Jeff is starting to work until 8 at night, I get lonely, so it is nice to have something of my own to do.
Well since I missed writing for Jeffreys 25th birthday (March 8) I will fill you in. We went out to Lethbridge for dinner and a movie, and I knew he wanted to see Alice in Wonderland and had been greatly anticipating it, and bugging me to go, so we went on the weekend before his weekend (more of a surprise this way) which happened to be the opening week of Alice in Wonderland. Not realizing it, I almost couldn't get any tickets since people were purchasing them in advance but I was lucky enough to get just enough for us and some friends. It was fun, and then on his birthday of course we drove into Cardston and hung out with Jeffs' parents for a nice relaxing day which was really nice!
In April we went to Utah to see some family. Usually we only get to see Clayton and Aimee and their two kids (soon to be three!!!) once a year, so I wasn't going to miss it, especially since Jeff hadn't met them yet. So know Jeff has met all of the siblings, and most of the family, the ones that I get to see haha and it went really well. Usually everybody liked Jeff so I wasn't worried, but I think they really liked him so it went well.
I am super excited to go out to the cabin this year! Jeff knows how to wakeboard, and we have some friends whose parents also have a cabin near by so it should be lots and lots of fun!!! Hopefully Jeff will show my brothers up, maybe humble them a little hahahaha
Well I actually get to hang out with Jeffrey tonight and we are going out to Waterton to maybe see some family, and to just hang out and enjoy life and this nice weather!

First Valentines!
This year we had our first Valentines day together! It was awesome, I made Jeff an awesome hearty meal, and he gave me the cutest wood moose carving statue thing ever! haha If anyone knows me, then they know I love moose!! They are the coolest animals around! Here is a picture of our welcoming moose named Melvin holding one of the roses Jeff gave me!
Thank you Jeffrey! I love you! Happy Valentines Day!!!

Waterton!
Jeff found out that I had never been to Waterton, so the very next day he took off half a day so that we could go out and have some fun. If you didn't know, Jeff works on a Dairy Farm 3 minutes away from our house. He rides a peddle bike back and forth from work, and sometimes he starts work at 4 in the morning! So when I say he took off a day, or a half a day, that means he was up way before the roosters dressed in gum boots and coveralls scraping up poop! Sometimes he milks the cows, but a lot of the time he is working on the tractors or feeding the baby cows. Usually Jeff works everyday around 10+ hours, so its really nice for him to have a day off so that we can go and hang out and have fun being a freshly married couple!
Anyways, so we went to Waterton for the day! There was still a lot of snow so we couldn't go up to the lake, but we drove up most of the road and it seems pretty long so I was asking Jeff how much longer (I'm impatient) and he said we are almost there! Sure enough we came around a bend, and there was a huge pile of snow, and the road was completely blocked! So we will have to wait until the snow melts for me to see the lake, but that is alright it will make for a whole new adventure!
We hung out a bit in Waterton just having fun the two of us in the gorgeous park! It was so beautiful with all of the trees and wildlife everywhere. Jeff taught me a lot of new things about animals. There were scrap markings on the tree and I just figured that it was from humans, but he explained that every year deers shed thieir antlers and start to grow new ones, but when they grow out the new ones, there is fur on them so they rub up against the trees to scrape it all off.
Here are a couple of pictures of us having some fun on our day off.
