Catch up time... again!
Since I have only blogged once this year, I figured I would just play some catch up with some pictures! That is what people really wanna see anyway! Right?! I love that people can blog every week and have an exciting life... but with working and school and ALWAYS being sick, my life is anything but exciting to me!
Except the fact that I am pregnant with a GIRL, that makes me smile every time I can feel her moving, and remember I am pregnant haha! I am just SO SUPER excited to have a girl!!! wahoo!!!
Anyways, lets start off with January, Nixon's second birthday! Nixon was sick a little for his birthday, I was glad my parents were here so that I did not have to take off work, but it just sucked that he was sick on his own birthday! He didn't even touch his cup cake! Here are a few from his little party... We have all the neighbor kids over, and their parents of course!
Opening up a present from G&G Kenly!

Then in February we went down to Boise for Jeff's Green card meeting! We went to an aquarium and got to pet sharks and sting rays, it was pretty cool!

We stayed in a hotel, with a swimming pool. That was a must have since Nixon never gets to go swimming. Rexburg doesn't have a pool, how lame is that?!

We also hit up the Zoo, here are my favorite pictures from that adventure!

Nixon got his head stuck in here haha!

So we went out to celebrate at Olive Garden!!! Which I recently learned is just like Johnny Carino's, but Johnny Carino's is MUCH better! :)
This is Nixon playing under the bench.... sometimes he has too much energy!

This is Nixon trying on one of our Kartchner Homes hats!

Another random event... Rigby (near Rexburg) has a "skating rink" it sucked, but we did go and try it out! Here area few pics from that!
Nixon was not at all excited about skating.. in fact he wouldn't even let me put the skates on him. Good thing we got a thing for free rentals!

In March we had Jeff's Birthday. I blew up many garbage bags full of balloons to fill up his car.... I think I have 7 bags full.. well I wanted his car to be packed.. but it wasn't! I was a little sad, but he liked it anyway! Oh yea.. we got a new Corolla! :)

I got him an ice cream cake because those are his favorite! Also, my brother Brock came up and surprised us! Jeff and Brock had a lot of fun rock climbing and their attempt to go skiing...
.JPG)
My sister came to visit!
We went out shopping and I found this treasure!!! It is a monkey shirt, his mouth has a flap to open and close! It is awesome!! I used to have a hippo sweater like this!

Nixon with his good friend Cora! This really does not look like a safe place at all where we were hanging out. Jeff was helping a good friend in the garage though, he rebuilds engines and car stuff like that....
That's all for now! :)

A new year!
Alright, so since it is winter, work has been kind of slow and I am off track right now so no school, so I have been getting my craftiness out in me! I decided to make a Quiet Book for Nixon so that when we are in church, he can stop driving me bonkers in Sacrament meeting! I am kind of cheap and I want to finish it quick, so it will not be like the one I dream up in my head, but better than nothing!
I looked at buying one, and thought they were so boring, and expensive really for what you get. So far I have spent 4$ on my project, and I do not think I will have to spend anymore unless I decide to add more things into it.
Here are a few pictures of my book, I just started last night, so I still have a lot of work to do! The football is going to have a shoe string in it for learning how to tie bows and such!
Well with the cold upon us, and with no stress in my life currently, I am going to continue with some crafts and hopefully come out with some good stuff.
In recent news, if some of you did not know I got a new job! I work for Kartchner Homes and it is awesome, the guys I work with are great and it has been a very good opportunity. It is slow being winter time and since it has been so cold it has slowed the projects we have down, and actually brought our commercial project to a halt for now.
We are excited that this is our last year in Rexburg, and we look forward to making the most of the cold and enjoying our time with our friends, because this time next year we will either be in Vegas or somewhere in Arizona doing Jeff's student teaching. So here is to a great last year living it up in Rexburg!!!

Catch-up Time!
Well a semester has come and gone since I have blogged... probably due to the fact I worked 2 jobs and went to school full time! Well, I love it! I have missed school!
Anyways, Nixon is getting huge! He is starting to say more and more words that I have no idea he even heard of before. This summer he got stitches twice in 2 weeks. Yupp our kid is that kid...or we are those parents haha I have not decided yet! Lets just say the kid needs a little more fear...and stairs are a weakness for him. For the summer, I worked in Idaho most of it, while Jeff was in Canada working on the farm. Nixon and I went back and forth to see him and work. I will never do that again! Too much driving, and Nixon slept in too many places making for bad sleeps, cranky baby making a cranky mama!
I got to see lots of family though and some friends. One of the days my mom and I spent a whole day making and canning salsa! It was way too much work and I have not touched it yet I am all Salsa'd out!
We had a lot of fun at my parents cabin, Jeff was trying some new wakeboard tricks and Nixon really enjoyed the water while it was warm out. Apparently we didn't have enough rough tube rides for him though since he would often start yawning or fall asleep on the tube.
We are getting geared up to start the Fall semester tomorrow and are eager to get done with school. We are only half way, but there is ending in sight! Sorry if we missed you this summer, we missed a lot of people and would have loved more time with friends and family, but hopefully next year!
